This comic project was to promote Skin Grip’s T1D Scholarship, which was awarded to 20 individuals living with type 1 diabetes. 

Skin Grip’s motto is to “live fearlessly” and they wanted a comic that would communicate that they understand the challenges that come with having diabetes and being a student. 

We came up with different scenarios that are typically felt in school situations, and how students with health conditions are doing medical management constantly, while also coping with the pressures of school.
